Geary Marcello was born in Santa Monica, CA. While in Las Vegas Geary met a major costume designer, became his roommate and then his assistant, that being his introduction to the fashion and entertainment industry.
On September 12 at the Empire Hotel Rooftop Lounge, Geary Marcello, founder of FoXXy Face Couture, had his Spring/Summer 2015 Fashion Week show
Geary Marcello was born in Santa Monica, CA. While in Las Vegas Geary met a major costume designer, became his roommate and then his assistant, that being his introduction to the fashion and entertainment industry.
Later, he went back to school in San Diego and got his BA in Fashion Design. He interned with Zandra Rhodes as a pattern maker, and also worked at Macy's as a visual merchandiser. Upon graduating, he moved to Los Angeles and became a sewer at the Mark Taper Forum Theater and Costumer at Dorothy Chandler Pavilion for the Los Angeles Opera man's chorus. Shortly thereafter, he was offered a position with EC2 and Bob Mackie, Ltd. as a costumer and Bob Mackie's 2nd assistant.
After a year with Bob he moved to Amsterdam, Netherlands and opened his design studio, Deadly Design Couture, becoming very successful. He designed for the queen and to celebrities as well as the average consumer. Soon he was picked up to design for the EU women's division of Wrangler. Due to the pressures of the EU and US, getting citizenship pretty much became hopeless, so he moved back to the US where he went to work as a pattern maker for Vera Wang Bridal Collection and some of the Khol Collection. Geary went on to work also for the Miss Universe Organization, and doing textile design for a number of celebrity interior designers.

In 2005 Geary met Rob Ordonez, an amazing fashion/lifestyle photographer from Mexico. He suggested to Geary to do a line of clothing and he would handle all the logistics and 10 days later FoXXy Face Couture debuted to hundreds of long time loyal media and followers. FoXXy Face Couture shows every September during fashion week and is seen in magazines nationally and internationally and on red carpets.
