Beth Rembold Mercante and Judy Goss, founder of Over 40 Females

On July 26th, the networking group Over 40 Females™ had a Beauty & Fashion meet at Boutique on 57.

Over 40 Females was founded in 2010 by Judy Goss, a former More Magazine Editor and also National TV Spokesperson for More. It was created to allow women to have a platform to be heard, to network and encourage, with the motto "Connect, Encourage and Inspire" for women everywhere. Since the Fall of 2011, eight chapters have been established, and the movement is spreading rapidly nationwide.

Not just another networking group, Over 40 Females has gotten their members press awareness, jobs, a $25,000 scholarship, business connections, nationwide speaking opportunities, education, friendships, confidence, luxurious pampering and much more.

Since Spring of 2012, Over 40 Females has been seen on: NBC, CBS, News 12, Huffington Post, Westport Magazine, Bella Magazine (coming out July 2012) and numerous newspapers and blogs.

April 27th was when the launch for Alfonsina Romero’s Closet Room collection of closets and accessories at Milan Luxury Home, in SoHo, took place.

A very successful night for Staley-Wise Gallery

To celebrate the publishing of the Lillian Bassman: Lingerie book, Staley-Wise Gallery had an exhibit opening on April 12^th of photographs from the book, and made available to be sold upon request, to the general public.

A lot of the people who matter in the fashion and related industries were there, and the crowd quickly overflowed out into the hallway. It was the kind of successful event that people in the know were talking about for days.

On account of M.A.C. Cosmetics honoring Joey Mills for his long time achievements, "M.A.C. Salutes,” an event held at in New York City last May, Make-Up Artist Magazine decided to do an article and front cover story about him, "Joey Mills: King of the Fashion Covers," in their Sept./Oct. 2011 issue. From that article came about Joey's appearance on April 14th as a featured speaker at the International Make-Up Artist Trade Show (IMATS).
