On May 21st at the 2014 Kips Bay Decorator Show House taking place at the Mansion on Madison, Consentino Silestone had a promo reception, where Silestone was featured in the countertop and sinks of the island in the beautiful kitchen.
Each year, celebrated interior designers transform a luxury Manhattan home into an elegant exhibition of fine furnishings, art and technology. It started in 1973 when supporters of the Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club launched the Kips Bay Decorator Show House to raise funds for after school and to enrich and enhance the quality of life for young people by providing educational and developmental programs, with special emphasis on youngsters between ages 6 - 18 who come from disadvantaged or disenfranchised circumstances.

The Show House receives as many as 20,000 guests every years. Since its inception, the Show House has raised over $18,000,000 for the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club, which currently reaches over 11,000 young people at ten locations throughout the Bronx. Today, the club is proudly one of the most prominent and responsive youth development agencies in New York City and a “flagship” of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America.
Over the course of four decades, the Kipps Bay House has grown into a must-see event for thousands of design enthusiasts and is renowned for sparking interior design trends throughout the world.
