To celebrate his firm's 25th year anniversary, Michael Aram, who has dazzled the design community for years, had a cocktail reception on October 16th at his showroom in Chelsea.
The glittering metalwork of intricate foliage, outstretched wings, and other forms were rendered in silver and gold hues as part of the new Atelier sculpture collection.
It was part of a benefit for DIFFA: Design Industries Foundation Fighting Aids which took place at Robert restaurant in the Museum of Arts and Design. In attendance were Cindy Allen, editor in chief of Interior Design and chair of the board, and David Rockwell, founder of Rockwell Group and chair emeritus, and Evette Rios, trustee of DIFFA. Joining them were design notables Jamie Drake of Drake Design Associates, Tracy Reese, Isabel & Ruben Toledo, Robert Verdi, and Geoffrey Zakarian.
