ART HEARTS FASHION: House of Byfield

On Septembet 17th, at the Refectory of The Highline Hotel, Art Hearts Fashion, The Biggest Name In New York Fashion Week showcased 7 designers.

Art Hearts Fashion was in full swing dominating NYFW with their second day of shows. With NYFW events taking place throughout the city, Art Hearts Fashion is one event that continues to showcase the strongest designers of the season. After opening day at Grand Central Station, Art Hearts Fashion showcased 7 designers at the High Line Hotel on Tuesday, September 17th.

On September 17, Pratt Institute Trustee Ralph Pucci, who is renowned for Ralph Pucci International  his high-end mannequin, lighting, furniture, and sculpture company, and the Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) hosted a celebration of the collection of Claire McKinney, B.F.A., Pratt Fashion Class of 2015.

THE GRANZIOLI COLLECTION Unveiled at Ralph Pucci International

On July 21st at the Pucci Penthouse, Ralph Pucci unveiled the Murano blown glass collection GRANZIOLI X. As an extra treat to the gathered art lovers, Elle Erdman entertained us with a dance performance.

On April 30th, the grand opening of the Global Home New York showroom took place around the corner from the Flatiron Building, in one of the two neighborhoods in New York City where purveyors of the Interior Decor industry concentrate their showrooms.

NYC Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2015: MONGOL

The show opened with a live-performance of traditional Mongolian string
music followed by techno pop belted out by a singer in a silver sequined
jacket and shades.

On February 13th, MONGOL debuted its fashion show at the tents in Lincoln Center.

YER SO BAD: PARRA Art Exibit

On January 8th, Jonathan LeVine Gallery presented YER SO BAD, a series of new works by Amsterdam-based, Dutch artist Parra, in what will be his second solo exhibition at the gallery. In conjunction with Yer So Bad, the artist will release a limited edition zine that will be available for purchase at the gallery and Printed Matter, Inc. located at 195 Tenth Avenue.

MARELLA AGNELLI - THE LAST SWAN: Marella Caracciolo Chia Book Signing

On December 8th, Jamie Creel and Christopher Gow of Creel and Gow hosted a book signing reception in honor of Marella Caracciolo Chia for the publication of Marella Agnelli The Last Swan, published by Rizzoli International Publications and co-authored with Marella Agnelli.

Vinus & Marc, an authentic Vintage Cocktail Lounge, Wine bar and Bistro celebrated its first Anniversary on August 19, 2014 by hosting "Arts & Culture Night from the Prohibition Era,"  a food tasting event benefiting Retail Orphan Initiative (ROI) to promote their inspirational volunteer initiatives.

L.EGENDS, S.TATEMENTS, S.TARS: Rashaad Newstone Art Exhibit

The Marlborough Gallery exhibit  L.egends, S.tatements, S.tars, a solo exhibition of new collages and video by Rashaad Newsome opened on December 9th. This exhibition was the artist’s second presentation with Marlborough Gallery and premiere in the gallery’s 57th street location.

HRH PRINCESS DIANA Garment Auction

Vintage posters dealers, The Ross Art Group also deals with selected limited edition prints and original paper art.

Sometimes they also pair up with other art sources to promote cultural events. It is in this latter category that on November 12th, an exhibit of four of the five dresses in the collection of HRH Princess Diana to be auctioned by Julien's Auctions of Los Angeles were on a one day exhibit at their showroom right off Rockefeller Center.

An exclusive show of the collection of HRH Princess Diana was also on display at The Museum of Style Icons (MOSI) at Newbridge Silverware in Kildare, Ireland.

November 19 was the night of the Opening Gala at Holiday House NYC.

Everybody's mood and behavior was like that of one big family reunion on New Years Day. Great, great fun was had by all, especially me. It was one of those events where photographing the revelers really added to the merriment, not just for me, but for all of my subjects as well.
